It’s been said that it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

But can you love and lose someone without ever meeting?

In his final moments before succumbing to brain cancer, high school star quarterback Jonathan Higgins describes a beautiful girl he knows is meant to be his one true love to his best friend, Tank.

Hundreds of miles away, on the same cool spring evening, a vibrant, healthy girl named Abigail Price suddenly suffers from a seizure that leaves her with an overwhelming sense of love and loss that she cannot explain.

Starting their freshman year in college the following fall, Abigail and Tank have a chance meeting on campus, and Tank is struck with the feeling that he’s seen this girl, that he knows this girl.

But how?

When Tank realizes who she is, he knows he must honor Jonathan’s memory and tell Abigail the secret he has been keeping since the day Jonathan passed.

But Abigail has a secret, too.

In Last Goodbye, love and friendships will be tested while Abigail tries to understand what is and what might have been.
